THE MISSION IS THE REAL HEART OF ST KILDA
“Sacred Heart Mission is amazing; I am delighted to be Patron of this campaign. I feel part of St Kilda and the Mission’s transformational project. As a young girl I danced in what is now the Mission’s dining hall and went to school next door.
I feel passionately that people who have endured so much disadvantage should be afforded a high level of professional care, just like all Australians. This project will give people who have experienced homelessness one of the most crucial foundations for their lie, a home.
These new contemporary and purposeful buildings will integrate support services and significantly improve care for people with complex needs. It will change their lives.”

GIVE A GIFT THAT COUNTS
“Sacred Heart Mission punch well above its weight: it is part of the fabric of St Kilda and gives back to people experiencing homelessness a sense of justice, decency and hope through unconditional assistance.
As campaign chair, and a great admirer of the Mission’s work, I urge you to support this extraordinary project. I am constantly moved by the dedicated staff and over 1,800 volunteers who work so tirelessly to provide a continuum of care from a meal to long-term accommodation, in spite of ageing buildings and impediments which adversely impact on service delivery.
This project will set the benchmark high across the aged care and homelessness sectors.”
